So my Snapchat and Insta Stories fam know I had a pretty busy weekend! I took y'all behind the scenes for my shoot with Wawili Hair. I've been looking forward to sharing about them, so please grab a cuppa and let's dive in!
Wawili is a Swahili word which means "two people". Wawili Hair is founded by a mother and daughter and as a brand, they're all about celebrating the eternal bond we all share with our mothers - whether they birthed us or simply nurtured us. Wawili hair stands for empowerment, agency and wholesome womanhood.
They are a concept store inspired by nature and landscape. (How cool is their Instagram page!!)
I've been eyeing them for a while, as having moved to Melbourne not too long ago, I've been eager to connect with the African diaspora community. So you can only imagine my JOY when they reached out to me...!!!! (***Squeal of delight!!***)
I'm super honoured to be the face of their latest collection - Bayou!
Stats on this hair:
I'm wearing the Bayou Collection Lace Frontal Wig in 20", custom colour. If you'd like to have your wig custom coloured, you'll need to send them an email. I thought I'd do red because duh Valentines! Hihi!
Wawili Hair focuses on top grade Remy hair, with undetectable extensions and lots of volume and body. (Yaaaaasss!!)
They ship from Australia to Kenya and they offer FREE SHIPPING to a home or work address. If you're in Kenya, you can pay by MPESA!!
Feel free to pass by their store: www.wawili.com and glean their Bayou Collection!!
PS- I love it when African women support each other to make things happen!! Don't ya?
Oh and before I forget - I have to shout out a few AMAZING people who've been EXTRA SUPPORTIVE!
