"To love and be loved is to feel the warmth of the sun from both sides.
This crazy thing called love. Is this my destiny? To love him and be loved by him? For all of eternity as we know it here on earth?
Today our paths are merging into one. Who would have known that he would be the one. My one. My one. The one that found me. In a sea of seven billion. Me.
The raging emotions - storms and then calm blue seas and then red, grey, raging storms again. Love. This is what it means to be in love.
To ebb and flow into one another. How we've grown and now we're here. Today's the day. Today we etch our love into forever. Today is our wedding day. Today we celebrate the blossoming of our love. Today I walk down the aisle. Today we declare our love for it to be known to all the world that he chose me and I chose him. "
~ Journal of a bride on the morning of her wedding.
I don't know about you but it's pretty much wedding season in my life. This year alone, I've had ten or so cousins and close friends tie the knot! TEN! It's amazing just how fast this time in our lives has come, right? I wasn't ready!
Wasn't it just yesterday that we were getting over high school sweethearts? Word! Talk about #hashtagadulting! Haha! Who would have ever thought we'd be the ones in white gowns walking down the aisle? How time flies, ei?
(Don't worry, if you're still out here walking your dog while your Facebook friends are having children, don't worry, I feel ya! Haha!)
But, being that 'tis the season for wedding bells, I thought I'd put together a bridal lookbook with some of my favourite pieces from Lovisa. Now if you've been following me for a while you know Lovisa accessories are my guilty pleasure! Unwinding on a Saturday afternoon means stopping by their store at Melbourne Central and drooling over their jewellery! #ShamelessConfession
So for today's post I picked out two exquisite pieces - their diamond circular choker and pearl round earrings to create this "Classic Queen" look! Where my soon-to-be brides at? This one is for you! :-)
"Let there be spaces in your togetherness, and let the winds of the heavens dance between you. Love one another but make not a bond of love: let it be rather a moving sea between the shores of your souls."
"Love yourself first and everything else falls into line. You really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world.”
"Love is friendship that has caught fire. It is quiet understanding, mutual confidence, sharing and forgiving. It is loyalty through good and bad times. It settles for less than perfection and makes allowances for human weaknesses."
I hope you picked up a tip or two from this lookbook - simple, clean and chic jewellery always makes for a classic and elegant look!
Sending you lots of love and sunshine,
