Lovisa Wedding Inspo Look #3: The Bunned Beauty!!

"So you're the first one of all of us kids to get married, sis! I can't believe this day is here! I remember the first time you told Mum and Dad that he'd proposed. Overjoyed cannot even begin to express their joy. Dad especially?! Word! He had his signature "Proud Dad" look on his face. You know how his beady eyes glisten with the slightest balancing tear? He had the widest grin on his face!
We are all SO proud of you. So proud of you for taking this step in your life. I can't believe you're going to be a WIFE. Wife?! Eeek! How exciting! And maybe soon I'll be an aunt? Haha! #Pressure
Now that I say that I realise just how much I'll miss our cozy conversations in the middle of the night - sat on our beds talking about crushes and school and all of that. I'll miss holding your hand when we go up-country and we're both afraid of going to the latrine alone in the dark. I'll (secretly) miss having access to your wardrobe. Haha!
Oh my! I'm a bit scared. A bit sad, that life has changed. Maybe I've lost you? Will you still be my big sister? Can I still call you to talk about boys and things? I'm crying now. But I know I love you and I couldn't be any more proud to be your little bean. I'll always be your little bean. :-)
- Journal entry of a little sister on the morning of her big sister's wedding.

To see a sibling get married is a new feeling. I've been through it twice and I still stand in awe of them both. Both my siblings are married. One of them with kids. #AdultingOnFleek Haha! Do you have a sibling who's gotten married?

In fact, the first time I ever came to Australia was for my big sister's wedding! It sure was fun to be a part of the bridal party. We drove around in a limo and got to take pics at the Grand Hyatt! #WeFancyLikeDat :-)

Coincidentally, some of the bridal party had a similar look to the one in this post - a top bun capped in a floral headband and some rose-gold hoops. This bubbly ensemble from Lovisa looks great on teens. You may tweak this look for little girls by including the floral headband-in-a-bun and exchanging the statement hoops for small gold studs! Either way, this look is a win!

"Sister. She is your mirror, shining back at you with a world of possibilities. She is your witness, who sees you at your worst and best, and loves you anyway. She is your partner in crime, your midnight companion, someone who knows you when you are smiling, even in the dark. She is your teacher, your defense attorney, your personal press agent, even your shrink. Some days, she's the reason you wish you were an only child."

Barbara Alpert.

"We're sisters. We'll always fight, but we'll always make up as well. That's what sisters do: we argue, we point out each other's frailties, mistakes, and bad judgement, we flash insecurities we've had since childhood, and then we come back together. Until next time. But still I wouldn't have it any other way."

Lisa See.

Is one of your siblings or cousins getting married soon? You may want to consider this look for the big day? #Jussayin! ;-)
